<br />The City Cour.cil may amend this ordinance as proposed by a member
<br />of the City Council, Planning Commission, or by a petition of a
<br />persor, residir, g or owning property within the City of Ramsey, in
<br />accordance with the followir,g provisions.

<br />Petitions for amendment shall be filed with the Plannir, g

<br />advertising deposit and a filir, g fee in accordar~ce with a
<br />schedule ar, nually affixed by resolution. The Planning Commission
<br />shall review the proposed amendment ar.d report its fir, dings and
<br />recom~,~endations ir. writiog to the City Council and to the
<br />petitioner. The proposed amendn~ent shall be int~-oduced before
<br />the City Council only if a member of the City Cour, cil elects to
<br />dc, sc,. If an amendr,~ent proposed by petitior, is not introduced,
<br />the advertisir, g deposit shall be refur.ded to the petitior, er;
<br />otherwise such deposit shall be paid to the City.

<br />published ir, the official city newspaper ten days prior to the

<br />bour, daries affecting ar, area of five acres or less, a writter,
