Discussion.RegardinG Council MeetinQs: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />approve of holding one regular Oouncil meeting per month and that it be held <br />on the fourth Tuesday of the month for the next three months (March, April, <br />May 1985). Further, that this issue be placed on the Council agenda for May <br />for discussion to see if the one regular meeting per month should be <br />continued. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />E. Public Meetina On Citizen Participation Plan For The.Metro Council: <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that oomunication between the City and Metro Council <br />could be improved, especially on major issues, by following some sort <br />procedure as is used in registered mail. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman requested that Mr. Schnelle prepare a formal proposal of his <br />ideas and concerns for Council review. <br /> <br />Appointment Of F~. Arlene Stafford To Serve On District #11 Advisory <br />Board. ReDlacina Ms. Joan ~hunel]: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seeonded by Councilm~r Reimann to <br />approve of the appoinbnent of Ms. Arlene Stafford to the Anoka-Hennepin School <br />District #11 Advisory Board replacing Ms. Joan ~hunell who resigned. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />F. Request For Grant Funds For Rum River Brid~e Crossing: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution $84-28 in support of Anoka County Resolution $85-6 relating to <br />Federal funding for the completion of County Road $116 including a Rum River <br />bridge crossing. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution $85-28). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heih~an, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Reimann, Schlueter and Cox. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />(Council inadvertently forgot to waive the reading of the resolution; further <br />action regarding this issue was taken during Case $7). <br /> <br />H. Appointment Of Councilmember To Serve On Joint Law Enforcement Council: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />appoint Councilmember COx to the Anoka County Joint Law Enforcement Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
