Motion by Councilme~t~r Sorteber9 and seoonded by Councilmember COx to authorize Dr. Tom Anderson to proceed with the wnstruction of a dance studio at 153rd Avenue 1~4 and County lqoad ~5 prior to the ovmpletton of the plat, oontingent upon the final plat being satisfactorily filed before a certificate of occupancy is issued. Mr. Schnelle stated that Mr. Steinbrecber also noted that the organization will donate $400 to aid in organizing a fund raiser. Mr. Schnelle suggested that Council appoint a oot~r~ittee to zesearch the feasibility of such a project. Motion by Mayor Beitman and seconded by Councilmerber Reimann to organize a oor~ittee oonsisting of a wuncilmeTt~r, a Park and Recreation Con~ission m~r, a Lions Club member and an RYAA member, to meet with Mr. A1 Steinbrecher regarding the matching fund offer for park develol2pent. Further, that Councilmember Cox serve as City Council's representative on this oon~ni t tee. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor neit~an, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. Councilmenber COx stated that the Ramsey Coalition and Ramsey (2~arter Con~nission should also appoint representatives to serve on the above mentioned con, hi ttee.
