I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA CDU~fY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a public bearing on Tuesday, April 9, 1985 <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nc~then Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota <br />regarding Sealcoating Improvement Project $85-6, 161st Avenue NW and Llama <br />Street <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Heitman <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Arnie COx <br />Councilmenber Gary Reimann <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />Director Of Technical Services Clayton Berg <br />City Attorney Goodrich <br />Larry Koshak of Hakanson/Anderson Engineering <br />Reporter Angela Flint <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman called the public hearing to order at 8:06 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION BY f~GINEER <br /> <br />Mr. Koshak gave a slide presentation of Sea/coating Improv~ent Project ~85-6 <br />shc~ing affected area and estimated total and front footage costs. Mr. Koshak <br />stated that the reason this area is being assessed on a front footage basis is <br />because of the large undeveloped parcels in this project area. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Council noted receiving a letter from Mr. Charles Delaney of 8404 161st Avenue <br />~ in which he states opposition to the sealooating project at this time. <br /> <br />Morrie Mox - 16000 Armstrong Blvd. - Stated that he is proposed to be assessed <br />for this Sealcoating Improv~nent Project and his oo~ments of ooncern this <br />evening were referring to this project. <br /> <br />Ron Benson - 16045 Xenolith - Stated that he is on the corner of 161st and <br />Xenolith and inquired if he is being assessed for footage along both 161st and <br />Xenolith. Noted that his driveway comes out on Xenolith. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle - Replied that Mr. Benson will be assessed for footage on the <br />street to which his driveway exits only. <br /> <br />April 9, 1985 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
