M~mbe r s Present: Mayor Gary ~eit~an Councilmenber A1 Sorteberg Councilm~nber Gary Reimann Councilme~ber Jean Schlueter Councilme~ber Arnie Cox Also Present: City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle Director of Technical Servioes Clayton Berg City Attorney William Goodrich Larry Koshak of Bakanson/Anderson Engineering Reporter Angela Flint C~T,L ~ ORDER Mayor Heitman called the ~ublic hearing to order at 9:00 p.m. PRESENTATION BY ENGINE. PR Mr. Larry Koshak gave a slide presentation of Sealcoating Improvement Project $85-11 shying affected area and estimated total and per unit costs. Deb Geske - 7210 149th Lane - Inquired if Council is aware that part of Pineview Estates may be affected by the possible expansion of the Gateway North Airport; some of the streets may not be in existence two years down the line. Also irguired as to who pays the assessments for the two abandoned hemes in that area. Mr. Koshak - Replied that the c~ners of the abandoned properties will receive an assessment. Mayor Heitman - Stated that the City may have to carry the assessments for the abandoned properties until such time as those properties are sold and the City will then recuperate it's costs. Non Rautio - 7521 149th Avenue - Stated that the portion of the street by the ~amp has been settling and needs to be brought back up prior to sea/coating. Cc~merciel delivery trucks travel this street and it should be stol~ped. There are only 5 homes on this stretch and most of the vehicular travel on this street is from ell the hc~es west that travel this road to Tom Thumb.
