I I I I I I I Mr. Goodrich - Stated that it is a public street and the only thing that would address Mr. Rautio's ooncerns is the weight restrictions on oommercial trucks traversing residential streets. Mayor Heitman - Suggested Mr. Rautio o~ntact the Police Department regarding his ooncerns. Sandra Rautio - Stated that if there is an expansion of the airport that will require some road realignment, there will be even more heavy equipment using the area streets; sealooatin9 should be delayed until a decision is made on the airport issue. Inquired if the open land across the street is being assessed. Mr. Berg - Replied that the land across the street is not being assessed because it is zoned Industrial but the owner cannot develop it as industrial because the road is restricted to 5 tons. Mr. Rautio - Inquired if County Road #116 is realigned along his property, can he install a culvert and access onto #116. Mr. Koshak- Replied that if and when Cty. Rd. #116 is realigned, Mr. Rautio would have to apply to the County for driveway access. Sandra Rautio - Inquired if she would be assessed for improva~ents to Cty. Rd. ~116 if it has to be realigned for airport purposes. Mr. Kosha'k - Replied that the County funds would be used for ~116. Sandra Rautio - Noted that the owners of industrial zoned land across the street are not being assessed for street improv~ents and irquired if those property owners will ever be granted acoesses onto that street. Mayor Heitman - Stated that what he is hearing tonight is 'no'. Motion by Counciolm~nber Reimann and seoonded by Councilm~mber Cox to adjourn this public hearing. Motion carried.
