Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Oouncilmmmbers Sorteberg, Oox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No.. None. <br /> <br />Introduction Of Ordinance ~85-7 Amending Chapter 130.01. Subparagraph <br />130.0110, Entitled Fees Pertaining To Bowlina Alleys: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman requested that the City Attorney research which cities do and <br />which cities do r~t include a per lane fee for bowling alley licenses. <br /> <br />~ouncil noted the introduction of proposed Ordinance %85-7. <br /> <br />Ce <br /> <br />Adoution Of Ordinance ~85-4 Entitled A Fund For The Pu _rpose Of Mitigating <br /> _Compensating For T~e Local Risk. Costs And Other Adverse Effects To <br /> <br />Oouncil noted the introduction of proposed Ordinance %85-4. <br /> <br />A. LanOfill's Affect On Residential Market V~Llues~ <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Oox and seconded by Mayor Beitman directing City Staff <br />to prepare specifications and advertise for bids for an extensive market study <br />to be done on the landfill's afect on residential land values. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Counci~r Cox noted that by the time this market study <br />is oompleted the Landfill Cc~m~ttee tenure period will have expired. Mr. Steve <br />DeLuca, a m~ber of the Landfill Ad Hoc Ccmm%ittee, stated that one of the main <br />thrusts of the Landfill Committee is to propose legislation and this Landfill <br />Coa~ittee was formed too late in the year to get much accomplished in the 1985 <br />legislative session; if the G0mmit~ is extended, proposed legislation could <br />be ex, piled for the 1986 legislative session. Counc~r Cox stated that he <br />would like to see the Landfill Ad Hoc _Committee exte_~ for another 6 months <br />only; at that time the Committee should be terminated as he doesn't like to see <br />c~m~ittees exist just to create more work for City Staff. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Beitman, Councilme~9~ers Sorteberg, COx, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Counci~r COx and seoonded by Gouncilms~ber Reimann to extend the <br />period of tenure for the Landfill Ad Boc Ccem~t~ until January 31, 1986. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor ~eit~an, Gouncilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />B.
