The Planning Cc~ission noted the following.. <br /> <br />1) Informational City Oouncil meeting minutes dated April 30, 1985. <br /> <br />2) Special City Oouncil meeting minutes dated May 7, 1985. <br /> <br />3) Special City Cbuncil meeting minutes dated May 14, 1985. <br /> <br />Cce~issioner ~-~er referred to page 5 of the May 14 Council minutes where <br />R~ River Hills was required to apply for a grading permit separate from plat. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris replied that technically, the grading plan is part of the <br />develoim~nt agreement at the time of plat approval but the grading plan was <br />never su~itted and approved at the time of platting. <br /> <br />(kmlnissioner Deemer referred to page 6 of the May 14 Council minutes, Case ~1, <br />and noted that the term 'conditional use permit' is used. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris replied that the case was approved with a 'permit for excavating and <br />grading '. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Requ_ est For Preliminary_ Plat _Approval Of Alpaca Estates Third <br /> Addition: Case Of Alpaca Estates. Inc.: <br /> <br />Mr. Haakon Jarnes ar~ his surveyor, Jeff Caine, were present. <br /> <br />Tne Commission review the City Engineer's report dated May 31, 1985. <br /> <br />Motion by (k~ssioner ~_-~er and seconded by Commissioner Johnson to recommend <br />approval of the preliminary plat of Alpaca Estates Third Addition contingent <br />upon the neoessary variances stated in City Engir~cr letter dated May 31, 1985, <br />except that Item ~6 of that City Engineer letter should be amended to only <br />require a 4' bike lane to coincide with street construction in Alpaca Second <br />Addition. Further, that preliminary plat approval is subject to City Oouncil <br />adopting the Envirorm~ntal Protection Ordinance pending before them. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice (~airman Zi~memman, Ck~ssioners I~er, <br />Johnson and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairman Peterson, <br />Commissioners Kennen and LaDue. <br /> <br />Case t2: Review Of Revised Preliminary_ Plan For West Oaks Planned Unit <br /> Develo~nt: Case Of Northfork. Inc.: <br /> <br />Mr. Mike Gait was present and stated that he is present to inform the <br />Cc~ission of a change in the proposal for West Oaks Planned Unit Develoim~=.nt. <br />The first pl~ase of the develolm~=_nt was to have included 41 lots on the north <br />side of the property and 9 lakeshore lots at the oenter of the property; the <br />proposal now is to develop 42 lots on the north side of the property and <br />eliminate the lakeshore lots from the proposal at this time. <br /> <br />Mr. Gair stated that the proposal has been presented to the Park and Recreation <br /> June 4, 1985 <br /> <br />Page 2 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
