's request for a variance fr~ maximu~ height allowance. 2) Mr. Donald Nienc~'s request for a variance to construct an accessory structure larger than allowed by City Gode. 3) Mr. David Schulte's request for a variance frcm the required front yard setback. Mayor Heitman called the regular Oouncil meeting back to order at 10:26 p.m. _(DUNCIL BUSINESS A. City_ Audit Report (Comprehensive Annual Financial Re?orr) For 1984: Mr. John Lilja of Deloitte, Haskins anbd Sells was present to review the conclusion of the 1984 City audit. Mr. Lilja stated that the auditors received excellent cooperation frcm City Staff during the audit and noted that his firm will miss working with Ms. Haapala as she will be enployed by the City of Cottage Grove in the very near future. Mr. Lilja stated that computer generated data was used in the audit and he thinks the City's~ computerization was a move in the right direction. Mr. Lilja stated that the O0mprehensive Anm~l Financial report should achieve the City's 4th Gertificate of Conformanoe. Mr. Lilja stated that this audit report will be verbal as Ramsey's financial matters are in excellent order; a written report is only necessary when there are significant items to note. Mr. Lilja stated that his firm is cooperating with the City of Ramsey in the process of finding a replacement for Ms. Haapala. Mr. Schnelle inquired if Mr. Lilja can see a difference in Ramsey singe ccmputerization. Mr. Lilja replied that his firm sees that schedules are prepared more readily in Ramsey since o0mputerization. Mr. Lilja noted that a lot of the actual accounting implementation was for 1985 and this audit was concerned with 1984; information recieved has improved with respect to timeliness and things should continue to improve as the City has been on computers for only one year. Mr. Lilja noted that there is a revised C~mpliance Audit Guide for next year which requires additional information and in turn will require additional manpower hours; the fee for audit may increase several hundred dollars because of the new requir~ents. Motion by Councilme~ber Schlneter and seconded by Mayor Heitman to reoeive Deloitte, Haskins and Sells audit opinion of the City of Ramsey's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the year 1984 and auditor's management o0~ents on said doct~ent.
