Festival (k~mittee that City Oouncil did take inappropriate action. <br />Oouncilmember Sorteberg stated that he see's no reason for Oouncil to change <br />it's actions based on one person's c0~ments. Ms. Looyen stated that (buncil <br />took action on June 25 based on one person's reca~n~tion -- that of <br />fbuncilm~nber (bx. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Gouncilmeubers Sorteberg and <br />Schlueter. Voting No: Councilmember Reimann. Abstain: Councilmember Cox. <br /> <br />(buncilmeuber (bx pointed out that the Park (k~mission did make a <br />reo0~mendation on April 18 directing that the funds raised be placed in the <br />Park General Fund and that motion did carry. <br /> <br />Tax Increment Financing: <br /> <br />(buncil unanimously consented to dispense with the reading of the resolution. <br /> <br />(buncil reviewed the Tax Increment Development Plan. <br /> <br />Motion by (buncilm~nber Cox to table action until the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Motion by (buncilm~mber (bx to adopt Resolution #85- establishing a Tax <br />Incr~ent Financing Development Program in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion failed for lack of a seoond. <br /> <br />Motion by (buncilm~mber (bx and seconded by Mayor Heitman to table any further <br />action on the Tax Increnent Development Program until (buncil's meeting <br />scheduled for July 23, 1985. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, (buncilmenbers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Senator Boschwitz will have a representative present at <br />City Hall on Friday, July 19 to hear issues and concerns. <br /> <br />Mr. Douglas Fountain - 15255 Garnet Street - Stated that he would like to <br />apologize to Gouncil and Counc~r (Dx for his earlier re~arks regarding <br />'(buncilember (Dx can go suck his own eggs'. Mr. Fountain stated that he hoped <br />Council and Councilmember (Dx would acoept the apology with the sincerity in <br />which it was offered. <br /> <br />Case %11.- Discussion Of Request For Liquor License Renewal: Case Of J.R.'~ <br /> Saloon. Mr. James R. Gilbertson: <br /> <br />Mr. Sid Brennan, attorney for Mr. J. R.
