DWEr. LING. MULTIPLE (APARTMENT): A building designed with <br />three (3) or more dwelling units exclusively for occupancy <br />by three (3) or more families living independently of each <br />other but sharing hallways and main entrances and exits. <br /> <br />DWELLING. SINGLE FAMILY A dwelling unit designed <br />exclusively for occupancy by one (1) family. <br /> <br />~z.~7~. ATTAC~ED.. A dwelling which is joined to another <br />at one or more sides by a party wall. <br /> <br />DWELLING. DETACHED: A dwelling unit not attached to <br />another dwelling or structure. <br /> <br />DW~r.nr~_.. TWO-FAMILY: A dwelling designed exclusively for <br />occupancy by two (2) families living independently of each <br />other. <br /> <br />DW~.nT.ING UNIT: A residential building or portion thereof <br />intended for occupancy by one (1) f~ily including <br />apartments but not including hotels, motels, nursing <br />hemes, seasonal cabins, boarding or rocking houses, <br />tourist hemes or trailers. <br /> <br />~: A grant by a property owner for use of a strip <br />of land by the public or any person for any specific purpose <br />or purposes of construction and maintaining utilities and/or <br />roadways. <br /> <br />~SSENTIAL SERVICES: The erection, construction, <br />alteration or maintenance of underground or overhead gas, <br />electrical, steam or water transmission or distribution <br />systems, collection, communication, supply or disposal <br />systems by public utilities, municipal or other governmental <br />agencies, but not including buildings. <br /> <br />FARM: A tract of land used for agricultural purposes <br />which is under cultivation or is fenced and utilized as <br />pasture. <br /> <br />~: Process of operatin9 a farm for the growing and <br />harvesting of crops which shall include those necessary <br />accessory buildings, related to operating a farm, and the <br />keeping of ec~m~)n domestic animals. <br /> <br />Ff~CE: A fence is defined for the purpose of this <br />Ordinance as any partition, structure, wall or gate erected <br />as a dividing marker, barrier or enclosure. <br /> <br />FILL~: The act of depositing any rock, soil, gravel, <br />sand or other material so as to fill or partly fill a <br />waterbody, watercourse or wetland. <br /> <br />B-4 <br /> <br /> <br />
