Director of Technical Servioes, Clayton Berg, is also a VA Inspector and is <br />using Ra~sey's City ~sll p~o~e n~ber in that endeavor; other area VA <br />Inspectors use their ~ phone n~bers and Mr. Berg should do the me sinoe <br />VA inspections is ~ot a City function. <br /> <br />Oo~cilme~r 0ox sukmitted a handwritten letter frc~ Mr. Donald Kent to Ra~sey <br />City Gouncil dated July 10, 1985 which stated the following: "In regards to <br />matters of Northern Park DevalOlm~nt (k~pany, I have talked to Sheila Beyer and <br />Clayton Berg no less than 50 times during working hours of both individuals <br />regarding construction [xojects during the last 3 ~onths. ~e ~ho~e n~ber I <br />used to call th~ was 427-1410." Oot~cil~ber Gox stated that he did ~ot <br />solicit this information from Mr. Kent. <br /> <br />Motion by Oo~cilmember Gox and seconded by Go~cil~ember Reimann to request <br />that city Administrator Schnelle research the issues of Mr. Berg using City <br />Ball phone nt~ber in bis endeavor as a VA Inspector and Mr. Berg and Ms. Bayer <br />conducting private business matters while on duty at City ~all; further, that <br />Mr. Schnelle report beck to Go~cil with his findi~3s on September 24, 1985. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
