As an interim solution to the problem, it is proposed to con- st~uct s culvert across 150th Lane N.W. as shown on Exhibit A, This culvert would be set at the high water levei as determined by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR). The proposed culvert would not lower the existing water level. Bowever, it would regulate the water elevation at the high water level as determined by the DNR. It is also proposed to clean the drainage channel between 150th Lane N.W. and 149th Lane ~.W. to allow water to flow from the north pond to the south pond. It should be noted that this is only an interim solution and in the event of a 100-year frequency storm, the water level in the south pond could exceed the water level in the north pond. Therefore, we would recommend a flap gate be provided on the proposed culvert in 150th Lane N.W. to prevent water in the south pond from flowing to the north pond.
