QUAD CITIES CABL[ COMHUNICA~IONS COHMISSION December 20, 19B4 Call to Order: Members Present: Chair Dan Hartman calJed the Dec. 20, 19Bq meeting of the Quad Cities Cable Commission to order at 5:03 p.m. Dan Hartman, Don Jacobson, Don Melrose, Jerry Dulgar, Dean Rick, John Be)ssel and Gary Reimenn. Members Absent: Patricia Lindquist Others Present: Mary Jane Thompson, Tom Sharrard, Group W Staff; Joe Perrin, ABC Newspapers; Richard Darg)s, RAND Radio; Denise Durante, North Central Cable Commission; Terry O'Connell and Tom Creighton, Quad Cities staff. Approve QCCCC Minutes of Nov. 15, 1984 Motion: by Mr. Jacobson, second by Mr(Dulgar to approve the Nov. )5, 1984 QCCCC minutes as written. Upon a voice vote, alt voting aye, Chair Hartman declared the lion carried unanimously. Approval of Bills Motion: by Mr. Jacobson, second by Mr. Dulgar to approve the payment of the following bills: $87.38 to the City of Anoka; $5.55 to Terry O'Connell. Upon a voice vote, all voting aye, Chair Hartman declared the motion carried unanimously. Group W Subscriber and Prograrnmin9 Rep.ort Ms. Thompson went through the subscriber statistics included with her packet. She commented that local programming air time is in- creasing. Mr. Hartman congratulated Terry Lovaas on his pron~>tion to Program Coordinator at the North Central system and complemented him in the work he has done for Quad Cities. Mr. Hartman also encouraged Group W to hire someone equal)y qualified to fill Terry's spot as soon as possible. Spectrum Sports - Addition and Pricing, Ms. Thompson reported that Spectrum Sports will be added and referred to the pricing proposal in the packet. Motion: by Mr. Melrose, second by Mr. Rick to approve the addition of the Spectrum Sports channe).
