II.

FEASIBILITY REPORT
STORM PRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS

ISOTH LANE N.W. & RHINESTONE STREET N.W.

INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this report is to review the technical feasibility
of providing storm drainage improvements for the vicinity of
150th Lane N.W. and Rhinestone Street N.W. in the City of Ramsey
as shown on Exhibit A.

The area of benefit, as shown on Exhibit A lies within the
Southeast Quarter of Section 21, Township 32 North, Range 25
West, City of Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota.

EXISTING CONDITIONS

The existing drainage system in the area consists of ditches,
culverts and ponding areas. The specific area of concern
addressed in this report is located north of 150th Lane N.W.,
between Uranimite Street N.W. and Rhinestone Street N.W. This
a[ea presently drains southerly towards 150th Lane N.W. Since
there is not a culvert in 150th Lane N.W. between Uranimite and
Rhinestone Streets, the pond level between 150th Lane N.W. and
151st Avenue N.W. has ,isen. This has caused expansion of the
ponding areas and encroachment of the back yards in the area.
