I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> REPORT ON FEASIBILITY STUDY <br /> FOR <br /> STREET SEAL COATING <br /> UNPLATTED "CROWS ADDITION" (JASPAR AREA), <br /> WHISPERING PINES ESTATES PLAT 3, <br /> 161ST AVENUE & LLAMA STREET, <br />GORHAM'S SANDY ACRES ESTATES & ADJACENT UNPLATTED AREA <br /> 156TH AVENUE BETWEEN VARIOLITE & COUNTY ROAD 83, <br /> SIGH POINT ADDITION, OAKRIDGE ESTATES, <br /> PINEVIEW ESTATES, SORTEBERG'S ADDITION, <br /> 167TH AVENUE BETWEEN COUNTY ROAD 5 & ~IGHWAY 47 <br /> <br />SCOPE <br /> <br />The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility of seal <br />coating the streets in the above referenced areas. <br /> <br />The project areas lie within the areas described in the transmit- <br />tal letter accompanying this report and are all within the City <br />of Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />The improvement project areas are shown on the accompanying <br />exhibit. <br /> <br />EXISTING CONDITIONS <br /> <br />The present street network consists of either rural or suburban <br />street sections with bituminous surface of varying widths depen- <br />ding on project location. The street widths vary from twenty- <br />four to forty feet (24'-40'). The bituminous surfaces have <br />numerous cracks due to temperature changes. There is also a loss <br />of bituminous material in the pavement due to sunlight; this <br />causes the pavement aggregate to be exposed. <br /> <br /> <br />
