Streets

The streets within the PUD are proposed to be constructed as
typical suburban residential streets in the City of Ramsey.
As shown on Exhibit B, a typical suburban residential street
is 31 feet wide including the bituminous berm.

The street section consists of a three inch (3") gravel base
with a minimum 1-1/2~ bituminous surface. This section is
equivalent to a 5 ton design in accordance with the
Minnesota Department of Transportation specifications. This
street section has been used successfully in the other areas
of the City. It is estimated that this street section has a
life expectancy of 15 years with minimal maintenance.

In conjunction with the street construction, the boulevards
would be graded at slopes not exceeding a one foot rise
every five feet horizontally. Boulevards would also be
restored by seeding and mulching to minimize erosion.
Excess material would be utilized to fill the low lots on
the south side of 169th Avenue N.W.

In addition to the street construction within the proposed
PUD, the turning lane will also have to be extended along
S.T.H. No. 47 at 167th Avenue N.W.
