counc~ lmembe <br />adoption <br /> <br />Introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br /> Ia, E:SCIU~ TI(:~ #85- <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Sections M.S. 471.59 and M.S. 473.877 <br />establish the authority for a joint powers agreement; and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, Minnesota Statutes Sections M.S. 473.875 to 473.833 set <br />forth the requirements for surface water management. <br /> <br />NU~ ~EREFORE, BE IT RESG~VfD BY 'Il:lB CITY OfDNCIL O~ 'lltE CIT~ OF RAMSE¥, RNOKA <br />CG~NT~, S~TE OF MINNESO~]%, as follows'. <br /> <br /> 1) The City of Ramsey hereby agrees to enter into the joint powers <br />agreement for the establishment of the R~ River watershed which is attached as <br />enclosure (A) to this resolution. <br /> <br /> 2) The City of Ramsey hereby authorizes its Mayor and City <br />Administrator/Clerk to sign the above stated document. <br /> <br /> 3) It is further directed that appropriate distribution be made of <br />said doctm~_nt. <br /> <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Oouncilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 26th day of February, 1985. <br /> <br /> <br />
