Counci lment~ <br />adoption <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br />RBSCI.,0TIOIq t85- <br /> <br /> ~REAS, the City of Ramsey has responded to the Metro Council draft <br />of the Regional Solid Waste Management Develolm~nt Guide/policy Plan; and <br /> <br /> WREREAS, the City of Ramsey has been informed that the Metro Council <br />will be adopting their draft of the Regional Solid Waste Management Development <br />Guide/Policy Plan on March 14, 1985; and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, the Ramsey Landfill Ad ~ Co~mittee has requested that the <br />Ramsey City Council request that the Metro Council table action on adopting <br />their Solid Waste Management Develol~ent Guide/Policy Plan unt/1 after the 1985 <br />Legislative Session is adjourned due to the fact that the Ramsey City Council <br />is proposing legislation during the 1985 Session that would affect the Metro <br />Council Solid Waste Management Develo[~pent Guide/Policy Plan. <br /> <br />N~ ~EREFORE, BE IT RESQLVED BY TgE CI%T (I~NCIL OF ~HE CITT OF RAMSE¥, ANOKA <br />CGONTY, S~E CF MINNESO~, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) ~at the City of Ramsey is currently engaged in proposing leg/s- <br />lat/on that would have a major impact on the Metro Council proposed Solid Waste <br />Manag~ent Develoim~ent Guide/Policy Plan. In view of this, the City of Ramsey <br />requests that the Metro Council table adoption of said document until the <br />adjourr~ent of the 1985 Legislative Session. <br /> <br /> 2) It is directed that a oopy of this resolution be forwarded to the <br />Metro Council ~hairperson. <br /> <br />Ge mot/on for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />CounciI~r and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor the reof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 26th day of February, 1985. <br /> <br /> <br />
