RESOLUTION ! WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey re~etve= federal revenue sharing funds in Period 16~ October the amount of $47,133 for Entitlement 1, 198~ through September 30, 1985! and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has utilized revenue sharing funds fop capital outlay such public and e~pendit upes works, police park equipment as well as park developmentl and WHEREAS, this use of revenue sharing funds has benefitted the entire community of Ramsey and has stabilized the property levy in the Cityl and WHEREAS, the federal revenue shaping program is more flexible to meet the needs of the City of Ramsey than are other federal entitlement programs, namely, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Community Development Block Grant progpa~l and WHEREAS, the federal revenue shaping is easily program more administered than other federal entitlement programs named above, and WHEREAS, there is discussion at the federal level to eliminate the federal revenue sharing program.
