PROCEEDINGS OF CITY (DUNCIL <br /> FJBLI C BEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA OOU~ <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The P~msey City Council oonducted a public hearing on Tuesday, April 9, 1985 <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota <br />regarding storm drainage improvenents in Pineview Estates Unplatted, Project <br />~85-1. <br /> <br />M~nbers Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Heitman <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Couneilme~ber Gary Reimann <br />Councilmenber Arnie COx <br />Councilmenber Jean Schlueter <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Llcyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Director of Technical Services Clayton Berg <br />Larry Koshak of Rakanson/Anderson Engineering <br />Reporter Angela Flint <br /> <br />Mayor Reitman called the public hearing to order at 9:42 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman noted that Council can take no final action for 60 days; this 60 <br />day waiting period is designed as an opportunity for the citizens to petition <br />against the project. <br /> <br />Mr. Larry Koshak gave a slide presentation of the proposed drainage <br />improv~ents which would link up the ponding area on 150th Lane with the <br />ponding area to the south on 149th. <br /> <br />Councilm~nber Reimann - Inquired if redirecting drainage to 149th would cause <br />probl~s in the future. <br /> <br />Mr. Koshak - Replied that at this time it is not anticipated to cause <br />problens. <br /> <br />D~le McKnight - 7421 150th Lane - Stated that 149th already floods in the <br />spring and the added drainage due to the redirection is sure to cause more <br />problens.
