I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />~he REC charge is established by City Council resolution and <br />is updated annually by the ENR Construction Index. <br /> <br />Sanitary Sewer Lateral - Sanitary sewer lateral costs are <br />apportioned to the property benefiting from the lateral <br />sanitary sewer oonstructed. Apportioning the costs of the <br />lateral may be done by dividing the o~sts of the lateral by <br />the assessable front footage of the benefiting properties or <br />by dividing the cost of the lateral constructed within a <br />plat by the n~nber of benefiting lots. <br /> <br />Where lateral benefit is received from a trunk, the <br />benefiting properties are assessed for lateral oosts similar <br />to the properties served by a lateral. The lateral benefit <br />on trunk cost is then deducted from the trunk costs before <br />apportioning the oost of the sanitary sewer trunk. <br /> <br />(3) Sanitary Sewer Service/Stubs: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Residential Areas - Ail residential areas shall be <br />provided with one four inch (4") service stub per REC. <br />~his study shall be assessed to all parcels on a unit <br />basis as part of the lateral assessment. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Commercial and Industrial Areas - Ail commercial and <br />industrial areas shall be provided with one four inch <br />(4") service stub per one-half (1/2) acre of area. <br />This study shall be assessed to all parcels on a unit <br />basis as part of the lateral assessment. Any special <br />services shall be assessed separately to the affected <br />property. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />Watermain Trunk, Source and Storage - Watermain trunk and <br />oversizing costs are paid for from trunk assessments on a <br />REC basis.
