I I I I I I I I I I (2) ~he REC charge is established by City Council resolution and is updated annually by the ENR Construction Index. Sanitary Sewer Lateral - Sanitary sewer lateral costs are apportioned to the property benefiting from the lateral sanitary sewer oonstructed. Apportioning the costs of the lateral may be done by dividing the o~sts of the lateral by the assessable front footage of the benefiting properties or by dividing the cost of the lateral constructed within a plat by the n~nber of benefiting lots. Where lateral benefit is received from a trunk, the benefiting properties are assessed for lateral oosts similar to the properties served by a lateral. The lateral benefit on trunk cost is then deducted from the trunk costs before apportioning the oost of the sanitary sewer trunk. (3) Sanitary Sewer Service/Stubs: (a) Residential Areas - Ail residential areas shall be provided with one four inch (4") service stub per REC. ~his study shall be assessed to all parcels on a unit basis as part of the lateral assessment. (b) Commercial and Industrial Areas - Ail commercial and industrial areas shall be provided with one four inch (4") service stub per one-half (1/2) acre of area. This study shall be assessed to all parcels on a unit basis as part of the lateral assessment. Any special services shall be assessed separately to the affected property. I I (4) Watermain Trunk, Source and Storage - Watermain trunk and oversizing costs are paid for from trunk assessments on a REC basis. Oversizing is defined and ten inches (10") or larger for residential or twelve inches (12") and larger for commercial/industrial. !
