Request for Variance from Sign Ordinance: Case of Mr. Jim DickensoB: Mr. Jim Dickenson of Dickenson Diesel is requesting a variance from the sign ordinance in order to erect an 8' x 8' advertising sign on the west side of Sunfish Lake Blvd. NW approximately 1/4 of a mile I ~~~~/.~.~/ north of Industry Avenue NW. The sign ordinance states that free · standing advertising signs shall be permitted within ~,500 feet of the boundary line of the parcel on which the subject activity is located.
