Mr. Bolm did not feel this was adequate and has submitted a counter offer that is included as enclosure (D2-z) along with his original letter of request. As a part of that counter offer, Mr. l~olm is requesting reimbursement for grading some 23,000 cubic yards of oommon excavation in Dysprosium Street NW at a cost of $].95 per yard, 885 yards of mucking at $2.00 per yard, and eight trees at $50.00 per tree. The City Engineer has advised us that ali these items are reimbursable frc~a M.S.A~S. In reviewing this it~ with the developer and City Engineer, we have concluded that, due to the complexity of this issue, the Road and Bridge (k~mittee, City Staff and developers should review this issue and make a reoommen~t/on to the City Council. These items should then all be spelled out in the developer's agreement. Item C: Report on Street Condition Complaints Received at Sealcoatin~ Hearings Reld on April 9. 1985: At the sealooating hearings held on April 9, 1985, several complaints were received in regards to the condition of certain streets. City Council requested that these be reviewed and a report be prepared for this meeting. Enclosure (D2-aa) contains the City Engineer's report as requested. Council Action: No Council action is necessary unless you would desire specific repairs, etc. on a particular area. Proposed Street Improvement Project for Extension of 167th Avenue NW Between Nowthen Blvd. NW and Jaspar This it~ has been considered several times in the past but due to lack of financing and or right-of-way, the project has never been ordered. ~e City Engineer's letter dated April 18, 1985, which is included as enclosure (D2-bb), spells out the steps that have been taken.
