Oouncilm~nber A1 Sorteberg Councilm~nber Gary Reimann Also Present: City Administrator' Lloyd Schnelle Chief of Police Mike Auspos The meeting was called to order at 8:05 a.m. CITIZEN INPUT There was no citizen input. APPROVAL OF AGENDA The agenda was approved as sutmitted. GOMMIITEE BUSINESS Case #1: Police Labor Nego_ tiations: City Administrator Schnelle noted the letter from the State Mediation Service regarding the 1985 police labor negotiations. City Administrator Schnelle went on to outline the list of requests submitted by the Police Department as outlined on Enclosure 91 which contained the following: a. Training costs for ~OST credits for validation of license - the City will pay tuition, mileage and meals only. Attendance to the maximum of sixteen hours will be at the officer's expense. b. Administrative time - twelve hours per year on a one hour per month basis and not to be accumulated past each month. c. Other: - 5% pay increase - $15.00 per month increase in health insurance - One day increase in holiday; they have, however, de- leted this from their demands Councilm~nber Reimann questioned what item (b) meant regarding administrative time- twelve hours per year on a one hour per month basis and not to be accunulated past each month.
