Oouncilm~nber A1 Sorteberg <br /> Councilm~nber Gary Reimann <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator' Lloyd Schnelle <br /> Chief of Police Mike Auspos <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:05 a.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was no citizen input. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as sutmitted. <br /> <br />GOMMIITEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Police Labor Nego_ tiations: <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle noted the letter from the State <br />Mediation Service regarding the 1985 police labor negotiations. <br />City Administrator Schnelle went on to outline the list of <br />requests submitted by the Police Department as outlined on <br />Enclosure 91 which contained the following: <br /> a. Training costs for ~OST credits for validation of <br /> license - the City will pay tuition, mileage and meals <br /> only. Attendance to the maximum of sixteen hours will <br /> be at the officer's expense. <br /> b. Administrative time - twelve hours per year on a one <br /> hour per month basis and not to be accumulated past each <br /> month. <br /> c. Other: <br /> - 5% pay increase <br /> - $15.00 per month increase in health insurance <br /> - One day increase in holiday; they have, however, de- <br /> leted this from their demands <br /> <br />Councilm~nber Reimann questioned what item (b) meant regarding <br />administrative time- twelve hours per year on a one hour per <br />month basis and not to be accunulated past each month. <br /> <br /> <br />
