I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />! <br />I <br /> <br />Chairman Lebeux stated that in order to resolve Mr. Boger f{ermanson's problem, <br />it will have to go before the City Council. <br /> <br />For the record, the following is included in these minutes regarding Mr. <br />Hermanson's property (22-32-25-31-0006): <br /> <br />Certificate of real estate value states total sale price in 1983 was $62,000. <br /> <br />Property valuation notioe states 1985 estimated market value is $76,900. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Fountain and seconded by Mr. Pearson to approve the agenda as <br />su~itted. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: <br />Pearson, Wentura and E~_Luca. <br />Sitz and McCulley. <br /> <br />Chairman LeLeux, Committee members Fountain, <br />Voting no: None. Absent: Committee members <br /> <br />BUSINESS <br /> <br />Chairman LeLeux stated that con%mittee business was discussed during citizen <br />input. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairn~%n LeLeux and seconded by Mr. Pearson to adjourn this meeting <br />of the Ramsey Landfill Ad Hoc C~ttee in order to have a chance to read the <br />full agenda and discuss it further at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Mr. f~_Luca stated that he has a few things he would like <br />to discuss before adjourning the meeting. Regarding tipping fees, he received <br />a response from Representative John [~artinger saying they haven't been able to <br />clarify the law as to what the total use of these fees can be used for in <br />regards to landfill waste abat~ent. <br /> <br />Mr. DeLuca asked the C~ttee what their thoughts would be on his writing an <br />article in the Mate Punch and Die newspaper (where he is employed) on the <br />landfill and if he should approach it from a public awareness standpoint or an <br />official City standpoint. <br /> <br />Chairman LeLeux suggested public awareness. <br /> <br />Mr. Pearson asked Mr. Wirz his opinion of how houses are selling around the <br />landfill. <br /> <br />Mr. Wirz stated that Oounty sales ratio studies show that houses around the <br />landfill have sold for approximately 93% of our estin%ated market value. <br /> <br />Mr. Wentura asked Mr. Wirz ~ many p~operties are becoming rental properties <br />in the City of Ra~. <br /> <br />Mr. Wirz stated that he can't arum~er that question. ~'ne only way to determine <br />that would be to count hc~nesteads. <br /> <br />Mr. DeLuca stated that he feels the Ad Hoc Committee should be setting some <br />guidelines as to what they want to aco~mplish. <br /> <br />Landfill Ad Hoc Committee/4-zg-85 <br /> Page 4 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
