Voting no ¥ottng yes CASE 11~ LANDFILL~ It~ Al Landfill'e Affmct gn .Besidential I~Irket Valumsl Council, at their Board of Review meeting on April 24, 1985, requested the Landfill Ad Hoc Committee study the landfill's affect on residential property and report back to them by May 13, 1985. Accordingly, they did report back to Council recommending that Council engage a private appraiser to review property values. However, the Landfill Ad Hoc Committee, at their May L~O, 1985 meeting, have changed that recommendation by motion in that they are now recommending that an extensive market study be don~ on the landfill's affect on residential land values· Please ~'efer to enclosure (D2-w) which contains the following meeting minutes: a) Excerpt of Landfill Ad Hoc Committee meeting minutes dated April 29, 1985 , i I b) Excerpt of Landfill Ad Hoc Committee meeting minutes dated May 20, 1985 The recommendation of their meeting on May 20, 1985 would be of far more value to the City than their recommendation of April L~9, 1985.
