Boundaries of the shoreland overlay <br />district shall be determined by scaling distances <br />off the official environmental overlay map. <br /> <br />170.0112C Definitions: For the purpose of this ordinance, <br /> certain terms or words used herein shall be interpreted <br /> as follows: The word 'shall' is mandatory, not <br /> permissive. All distances unless otherwise specified <br /> shall be measured horizontally. <br /> <br />~fline. The line which generally follows the <br />river bank where the slope changes from steep (more <br />than 12 peroant) to less than 12 Percent. <br /> <br />Boa~. A structure used solely for the storage <br />of boats or boating eguilmmnt. <br /> <br />~uilding Line. The line measured across the width of <br />the lot at the point where the principal structure is <br />placed in acuordanoe with setback provisions. <br /> <br />~. The removal of an entire stand of <br />~ees. <br /> <br />Conditional Use. A use of shorelands which is <br />Permitted within a zoning district only when allowed by <br />the city after a public hearing, if certain conditions <br />are met which elimir~te or minimize the incompatibility <br />of the conditional use with other permitted uses of the <br /> <br /> Or~{ nanoe #85-2 <br /> <br />-- 4 --- <br /> <br /> <br />
