That Mr. Charles Delaney, hereinafter referred to as <br />I 'Applicant,' has properly applied for a special use permit to <br /> hold an annual 9ame fair. <br /> <br /> 2. The the Applicant appeared before the Planning and Zoning <br />I Commission for a public hearing pursuant to City Ordinance on <br /> July 2, 1985. That said public hearing was properly advertised <br /> and minutes of that public hearing are hereby incorporated by <br /> <br />3. That the subject property is generally known as that area <br />east of Lake Eddy and is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section <br />17, Township 31, Range 25, ~noka Oounty, Minnesota <br /> <br />The Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section <br />17, Township 31, Range 25, ;~oka (bratty, Minnesota. <br /> <br />4. That the subject property is located in an R-1 Residential <br /> <br />5. ~hat the Applicant is requesting to hold the annual game fair <br />for five days each year, the Saturday, and Sunday of the <br />weeker~ i~ately p~eceding Labor Day Weekend and the Saturday, <br /> <br />6. That the City received a note from Carl Pomraning stating <br />that he had ~o objectio~ to the Applicant's request. <br /> <br />7. ~hat the Standards for Oonsideration are as follows: <br /> <br />a) That the property is zoned R-1 and an annual game fair <br /> is not a permitted use in this zone; <br /> <br />b) That the adjoining property is either residential or <br /> vacant; <br /> <br />c) That the proposed use would create a change in the <br /> traffic flow to the area ~ce each year for six days; <br /> <br />d) That there is no other similar use, an annual game <br /> fair, in the City; and <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
