a) Use of public works vehicle to go to an eatery for lunch or <br /> rest break is prohibited; <br /> <br />b) Use of public works vehicle for personal use except as <br /> allowed for by the Public Works Superintendent; <br /> <br /> 2) Police Department - The use of a police vehicle will be as stated <br />above. However, the following will not be authorized: <br /> <br /> a) Use of police vehicle for traversing to and from work is <br /> prohibited; ' <br /> <br />b) Use of police vehicle to do personal shopping is prohibited. <br /> <br /> 3) City sedans 700, 701 and 702 - The use of these vehicles will be <br />in the performance of the individual duties. ~However, the following will not <br />be authorized: ~ <br /> <br /> a) Use of subject sedans to travel to and from work; <br /> <br /> b) Use of subject sedans to take lunch breaks or rest breaks <br /> when not on official City business; <br /> <br /> c) Use of subject sedans to do personal shopping. <br /> <br /> 4) No one will operate a City vehicle When he/she is under the <br />influence of a~ intoxicating beverage. <br /> <br /> 5) The City four-wheel drive vehicle will be used to pick up <br />certain key City employees during snow storm conditions when authorized by the <br />City Administrator. <br /> <br /> 6) The use of City sedans 700, 701 and 702 will require the driver <br />to use the log book that is provided. <br /> <br /> <br />
