MINNESOTA 55304 o (612) 755-5100 <br /> <br /> ; ' ' ' ' -.-; <br /> L' - ' ,'- '1",,'..' <br /> <br /> Members of the Lower Rum RL~er Wat'e~shed ;.Ianagemen~n <br /> <br /> Re: Final Joint Powers Agreement to Establish the Lower Rum River <br /> Water Management Organization <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />We have all approved the agreement, but the agre. ements are in <br />different forms. <br /> <br />The attorney for the City of Anoka thoroughly reviewed the agree- <br />ment to make it conform to the 509 law as well as some re-phrasing. <br /> <br />The City Attorneys of each city have had the Anoka copy available <br />to them and a~ree the agreements have the same intent and purpose. <br /> <br />One phrase about certifying to the County is not included but each <br />city can certify their costs to the County or collect as part of <br />the General Fund. <br /> <br />I will send an original copy for each city-to si~n. When we have <br />all signatures, we will distribute a fully executed copy to the <br />4 cities, the County and the Water Resources Board. <br /> <br />NOTE: The next step is f~r each city to appoint a member and an <br />alternate member to the Water ~lanagement Organization and proceed <br />to develop a water management plan.
