'Will '~.', generatmd 'from 'LUthe~i 'Brotherhood 'and 'matc2tirig funds. <br /> <br />Mr. Arnie Cox came befor the c~,,,,imsion to a(~cuss the use of funds ga~erated <br />by the Park Festival and matched by Lutheran Brotherhood. The ~t could <br />exceed $26,000.00. His suggestion x~as that the funds be used equally between <br />Central Park and River's Bend Park. C~auissi~ Hetland said bq.~ own opinion <br />was that the funds should be used e~clusively for Central Park because people <br />are already living there and the park is not finished. Mr. Cox disagreed and said <br />if there is a park developed at River's Bend i~ may encourage people to buy there. <br />~ ssioner Rustad said that maybe the my could be divided up between all parks. <br />O,,~,,issioner Hetland said that he could see no progress at River's Bend and objected <br />to putting money there. Mr. Cox stated that ~y people have donated labor and <br />equipm~at to develop the park as far as it is nc~. <br /> <br />Since there was not a quortgn the Crrm~ ssion did not make any offical m~tions and <br />did not act on Case ~/1. <br /> <br />meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />
