Dulgar to approve payment of the ' <br />following bills: $2,921.q7 to the City of Anoka; $28.00 to Regal <br />Awards and Trophies. <br /> <br />Upon a voice vote, all voting aye,.Vice-Chair Beissel declared the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Grou~ W Subscriber and Programming Report <br /> <br />Ms. Thompson said penetration was still at 31~but she felt there <br />would be a change before next month due to figures coming in from <br />her sales staff. Ns. Thompson said that Group W had awarded five <br />scholarships to Anoka High School students at the graduation cere- <br />mony. Mr. Jacobson questioned the method used in awarding the <br />scholarships and asked whether they weren't speclfically supposed to <br />be given to students entering the telecommunications field. Mr. <br />Beissel explained that the Commission had decided, due to time <br />constraints, to award the scholarships this year to needy and de- <br />serving students with no other criteria used.
