These <br />systems are all tied together through the Remote Network Processor with 12 Paycenters throughout the United States. <br /> <br />LOGIS {Local Government Information Systems) <br /> <br />BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST <br />(May 1981 -July 1984) <br /> <br />T his position is responsible for coordinating the design, development and implementation of new applications and for <br />assisting with the present computer operations of Logis. <br /> <br />The Business Systems Analyst is under the general direction of the executive director, and given the general <br />responsibility of determining business system requirements for new computer applications. This also has the <br />responsibility for implementation of new applications either directly or through outside consulting contracts. <br /> <br />Logis operations consists of three Hewellet Packard 3000 Mini-Computers with the following modules: Financial <br />Control System Module, Payroll, Fixed Asset, Equipment Control, Deputy Registrar, Property Data, Liquor Inventory <br />Control. Utility Billing and Collections, Special Assessments, and a Police Record Keeping Module. The data processing <br />services are provided for 26 municipalities. The Analyst also provides technical support in the recommendation and <br />selection of Micro Computer based systems including both hardware and software selection as well as end user support. <br /> <br /> FLOYD COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br /> DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL AND COMPUTER SERVICES <br /> (September 1980- May 1981) <br /> <br />This position was a newly created position to establish under Floyd County's Department of Administrative Services, <br />the Department of Accounting and Computer Services. <br /> <br />The responsibility of the Financial Director is to coordinate and implement the transition to an electronic data <br />processing system for both Floyd County, and Cossa Valley Area Planning and Development Commission, along <br />with establishing a Department of Accounting and Computer Services for Floyd County. <br /> <br /> The Financial Director performs complex and varied supervisory and administrative duties in financial administration, <br /> <br /> <br />
