Councilmember Hendriksen - Page V-16, last paragraph - can we write this in a way that puts us more in the "driver's seat"? Page V-18 - #2 - he asked that this be reworded. V-20 - #6 - read it as or- it should be all 3. Ms. Sherman stated that the changes will be made and presented on the City Council agenda. Councilmember Zimmerman asked that staff go way overboard to get this ready for people to look at. Bring this to the City Council and get that five units per acres more clear - density bonus. Ms. Sherman stated that the City controls it. She stated she would hate to lose the opportunities where we might be able to do something. Councihnember Hendriksen stated he wants to see it spelled out so it's not laid out as a City Council's own agenda. Consensus was that the Council would hold a Comprehensive Plan work session at 5:30 p.m. #7: Storm Drainage This item was removed from the agenda. #8: "Citizen Input Council Agenda Item This item was removed from the agenda. #9: Other a. Tax Bill Mr. Norman explained that the levy limit extension is one year and summarized the tax bill. b. Direct Enclosures Mr. Norman described the company Direct Enclosures and what they do. They are in Maple Grove right now. The project is nice but the site does not cash flow. There is about $265,000 work of work to get that site prepared. The cost of the building would be about $700,000 to $750,000. If this project does not go through, no project would. If we cannot make it work for them, we cannot make it work for anyone. We can approach Connexus to see if they would be willing to lower their price. We give free land for a TIF project - we get back in TIF to pay for the land. Our other thing is making that site a buildable site. He handed out T~ projections and pointed out that it gives Council a fairly good idea of where these districts are.
