Commissioner Cenaiko made motion oppointlng Dave Torkildson, Director of Porks and RecreaHon, to serve as Planning Team Representative on the newly-crealed Mississippi River Regional Park FeasibilJty Planning Team. Comm[ssioner Longfeld seconded the motion. Commissioners Haas~ Burmah, Langfeld, Kordiak~ Cenalko, McCorro~ and F__rhar t voted ::yes.': Motion carried. Chairman Kordiak was excused from the meeting at 10=1~ A.M. Jay McLInden, County Administrator, presented the preliminary departmental budget request totals for IC)8~ and responded to 'questions from the County Board. (Prelimlnory 1986 Budget Information dated August 27~ 1985~ is on file in the County Administration Office.) Commissioner McCarron made motion reconsidering the August20, 1985, County Board ratification of the Community Health and Social Services Board report from the meeting of Thursday, August 8, 1985. (Report is on file in the County Administration Office.) Commissioner Haas seconded the motion. Commissioners Haas, Burmon~ Longfeld, Cenaiko, McCarron and Erhart voted "yes." Motion carried. Bob Hutchison, Director of Environmental Services, and Don Otter~ Vice-President of Waste Management of Minnesota~ Inc.~ presented information and responded to questions from the County Board. Commissioner McCarron made motion ratifying the recommendations of the Community Health and Social Services Board from the meeting of Thursday, August 8, 1985, with the following exceptions: Ih Environmental Services 3. Waste Management, Modification of License Condition for Hydrogeological Report; and, 5. Waste Management of Minnesota - Development Limitation. Commissioner Haas seconded the motion, Commissioners Haas~ Burman~ Langfeld, Cenaiko, McCarron and Erhart voted "yes." Motion carried. Commissioner McCarron made motion approving the following item from the Community Health and Social Services Board report from the meeting of August 8~ 1985, with the provision that periodic status and update reports are to be made by Waste Management~ Inc., to the County Board on the 14th of September and every month thereafter until the report is completed: II. Environmental Services 3. Waste Management, Modification of License Condition for Hydrogeological Report. Commissioner Burmah seconded the motion. Commissioners Haas~ Burmon~ Longfeid, Cenaiko~ McCarron and Erhart voted "yes." Motion carried.
