'[he properly for which you ere applying tot electric service Is called Ihe"Property". You musl write the address and legal description of this Properly in the space indicated elsewhere in this application. AGREEMENT The Applicant agrees to buy electrical power for the Property from the Cooperative. The terms of this agreement are written below: 1. CERTIFICATE OF MEMBERSHIP. By signing this Application for Electric Service, the Applicant Is also applying for membership In Ihe Cooperative, The Applicant must pay the Cooperative an application fee of $5,00 Afler the Board of Direclors of the Cooperatiave accepts the Applicant as a member, the Cooperative will give the Applicant a Certificate of Membership (stock certificate). 2. DEPOSIT. The Applicant agrees to pay the Cooperative any deposit required by lhe Coopera- tive for the type of electric service the Applicant requests. :J, ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION AND BY- t. AWS. When Ihe Applicant applies for membership, the Cooperative will give fha Applicant a copy of the Cooperative's Articles of Incorporation and By- Laws. As a member of the Cooperative, the Appllcanl must abide by the provisions of the Cooperafive's Arlicles of Incorporation and Laws, The Applicant must also follow any rules and regulations which are adopted by the Cooperative. 4. BUILDING AND ZONING ORDINANCES. The Applicant's use of this electric service must comply with all building end zoning ordinances (laws). The Cooperative may require the Applicant to show that he/she has gotlen any permit required under the building and zoning ordinances (laws) before the Cooperative connects the electric service. 5. ELECTRICAL WIRING. The electrical wiring on Ihe Properly must meal the Cooperalive's standards for electrical wiring. The Applicant agrees to maintain all wiring, motors end electrical equipment so that they will be safe to use and will not interfere with electric service to other Cooperative members. 6. BUYING ELECTRICITY FROM COOPERATIVE ONLY, When the Cooperative makes electric service available to the Property, the Applicant will buy all of his/her electric power lot the Property from the Cooperative. RIGHT TO ENTER APPLICANT'S PROPERTY. The Cooperative may enter the Property at ant to read meters and to place, install, inspect, repair, rebuild, remove, maintain, relocate and replace an electric line or electric system.
