Also contained in this enclosure is a letter dated November 2Z, 1985 from the City Engineer on this subject, r Council Actiom ~/]~' /'~--'~ ~ ._~-- Your action should be to direct the city Engineer to attend this meeting and represent the City. In addition, Councilmembers should also try to attend this important meeting. Item C: Metropolitan Council Solid Waste Management Guide/Policy Plan December 11~ 1985 Public Hearing: City Planner Anne Norris attended this meeting and reports that most of the people who attended and spoke at the hearing were representing private landfill operators. Their concerns were regarding the Council's policy to restrict expansion of existing landfill sites and the difficulty in getting approval for new landfill sites. The record is open until December 27, 1985 if the City Council wishes to submit any comments, r)~~ --- ,,-w,--O /~)ec~x ENGINEERING: Item A: Approval of Pay Estimate No. 8 (Final) for Pumphouse No. 1, Project 13, to A & K Construction: The City Engineer is recommending final payment in the amount of $1,747.44 for this project. Enclosure (DZ-i) contains the pay estimate. The proposed resolution for-your adoption will be available at the meeting. Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove the final pay estimate. The following proposed motion is.hereby submitted for your cons~erj~tion: Motion by 5c0~L~nd seconded by ~~~to adopt Resolution #85- authorizing pay estimate no. 8 (final) to A & K Construction in the amount of $1,747.44 for Project 4~84-13 for Flintwood Hills Second Addition.
