City Administrator Ulrich congratulated the team for their outstanding efforts, highlighting especially the efforts of Asst. City Administrator/Economic Development Manager Brama. Mayor Strommen asked if there are lessons learned that could be transferred to future projects. City Administrator Ulrich noted that a debriefing would occur to highlight those aspects and plan better for the future. Fire Chief Kohner stated that this new station adds functionality and efficiency as well as improving safety for the firefighters. 8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT City Administrator Ulrich announced upcoming meetings and events. Community Development Director Gladhill stated that at the direction of the Council a moderated panel event was held in October to determine the market viability of The COR. He commented that it was a very valuable exercise and some policy direction will be needed. He stated that staff is looking for direction from the Council to hold a joint worksession on the topic with the Council and Planning Commission. He noted that this moderated panel was on a broad topic and that could then be refocused onto topic such as retail and parking as well as signage. He believed January would be a good fit for the topic. Mayor Strommen confirmed the consensus of the Council to schedule a joint worksession with the Council and Planning Commission in January. Councilmember Riley stated that he attended a 2016 business networking event with some members of City staff earlier today, noting that it was a good event. Mayor Strommen noted that the City has its first snowfall event and commended public works staff for their efforts. 9. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Shryock, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
