November 28, 2016 <br /> To: The Members of Northfork Homeowners Association <br /> Ile: Our Response to Mark Berglund's Letter Dated November 23, 2016 <br /> Dear Member, <br /> We are writing to you because we feel compelled to respond to you, our neighbors, regarding the <br /> five-page letter you received, specifically about us, from Mark Berglund, who is the attorney <br /> who represents our Northfork Homeowners Association. His letter was dated November 23, <br /> 2016 and was mailed out to every homeowner—it most likely was in your mail on Saturday, <br /> November 26, 2016. In the 24 years, we have lived here, we have NEVER received a letter from <br /> the BOARD or the HOA's Attorney, specifically calling out a homeowner by name. We will <br /> make our response as concise as possible. <br /> FIRST PITa MAJORITY VOTE WAS A YES VOTEF CHICKENS <br /> First, the Board states "the majority of the votes were for no chickens to be allowed on property <br /> in Norhtfork". This is untrue!! We mailed 148 YES VOTE ballots to the Board via US Mail; and <br /> we made photocopies of these ballots as well. Below is a summary of our results which this <br /> summary was emailed to the Board on Monday,November 21, 2016 including copies of all 148 <br /> ballots we received: <br /> We have obtained 148 con armed YES votes. That is homeowners saying "YES--I would like to <br /> see homeowners allowed to have chickens within Northfork Homeowners Association."Here is a <br /> summary of our results: <br /> +66 Ballot Postcards (mailed to the board and copies emailed to the board) <br /> +37 "We mailed a YES VOTE! (copies emailed to the Board) <br /> +35 "We discarded our ballot by mistake. We are a YES Vote! (mailed to the board and copies <br /> emailed to the Board) <br /> +10 "We mailed a NO vote but after more info--We area Yes Vote!
