Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #16-12-248 <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROVE POSITION RECLASSIFCATIONS <br /> WHEREAS,the strategic plan identifies the City Council's desire to maintain an <br /> effective organization and to reclassify jobs in an effort to retain employees; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff identified two position to be addressed at this time; and <br /> WHEREAS,the 2017 budget accounts for the position reclassifications; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends the following: Reclassify the current Assistant <br /> Permit Technician, Ellen Krueger, to Permit Technician, at step 3 of the new wage scale, <br /> which is $23.20 per hour and the current Parks Lead Worker, Mike Berge, to Parks <br /> Supervisor, at step 2 of the new wage scale, which is $31.73 per hour. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> Motion to adopt resolution#16-12-248 to Approve Position Reclassifications, effective as <br /> of January 1, 2017, as follows: <br /> 1) Reclassify the current Assistant Permit Technician, Ellen Krueger, to Permit <br /> Technician, at step 3 of the new wage scale, which is $23.20 per hour; and <br /> 2) Reclassify the current Parks Lead Worker, Mike Berge, to Parks Supervisor, at step 2 <br /> of the new wage scale, which is $31.73 per hour. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br /> thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br /> Council this the 13TH day of December 2016. <br />
