Mississippi Skyway <br /> City of Ramsey, Minnesota <br /> Scope of Services <br /> Basis of Scope and Fees <br /> The following Scope of Services and attached Fee Estimate were prepared based primarily on information contained in <br /> the Mississippi Skyway Preliminary Engineering Report(December 2014). General components of the project will <br /> include: <br /> • Connection to the existing Ramsey Station, <br /> • Double bow string truss over TH 10, <br /> • Concrete girder spans between TH 10 and the Ramsey Station, <br /> • Concrete girder spans between TH 10 and the southerly ramp, and <br /> • A helix ramp at the southerly termini. <br /> Project Management <br /> Our project manager will work closely with the City of Ramsey's project manager to ensure clear and consistent <br /> communication is occurring. Bolton&Menk will have ongoing communications with City staff throughout the <br /> project. Communications will also be ongoing with MnDOT.No direct time will be invoiced for this task,but <br /> instead will be considered as an integral portion of each of the tasks that follow. <br /> Task 1: Management and Early Coordination <br /> City Meetings <br /> A kickoff meeting will be held with the City of Ramsey staff to relay information and to provide Bolton&Menk <br /> with the information we need to get an immediate start on this project.Additional meetings will be held with the <br /> City of Ramsey staff to discuss findings, issues, schedule, and needs to keep the project progressing. <br /> MnDOT Bridge Office, State Aid Office, and Metro Transit Meetings <br /> Bolton &Menk and the City will meet with these agencies to discuss the project and project status as design <br /> moves forward. These will be considered coordination meetings as we move through the design and plan approval <br /> process. <br /> Other Agency Meetings <br /> Meetings and communications will be held with other agencies such as the Lower Rum River Watershed <br /> Management Organization,MnDOT Right-of-Way and Permitting offices, and other agencies as appropriate <br /> through the design and authorization process. <br /> Project Memorandum <br /> Early Coordination <br /> To meet the project schedule and obtain Project Memorandum approval it will be important to advance this <br /> task early and efficiently.A recognized component of achieving this is early preparation and submittal of the <br /> environmental and cultural review requests so they do not control the schedule.
