~: Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />· FROM: City Administrator <br /> RE: Monthly Report <br /> DATE: November 24, 1978 <br /> <br />1) Personnel: I met with the Ramsey City Council Personnel Committee <br />Monday, November 20, 1978. I covered a number of personnel issues such <br />as personnel evaluations and a personnel ordinance~ I informed the <br />Personnel Committee I would prepare a personnel ordinance which the~City <br />does need. This would be accomplished by your second meeting in December <br />(December 18,.1978) <br /> <br />2) Police State Aid: We will be receiving this year (1978) approximately <br />$5,599.39 from the State of Minnesota which represents approximately <br />$1,866.46 per police officer for three officers. This is an increase <br />of about $366.00 per officer as originally we were to get approximately <br />$1,500.00 per officer. During the year 1979, we should receive approxi- <br />mately $9,333.00 for five officers which will be a big help to the City. <br /> <br />3) Council Agenda: It did not .get published in this weeks paper because <br />we were unaware of Tuesday, November 21, 1978 being the papers deadline <br />for this week because of Thanksgiving Day. <br /> <br />4) City/School Paper: This will be published in_December; 1978. Con-- <br />sequently, if any Council member has something he wants to put in that <br />paper, he should get it in ASAP like the first week of December, 1978. <br /> <br />5) Waste Management, Inc.: Mr~ Don Otter, of Waste Management, Inc~ <br />would like to meet with the Council in the near future~ Consequently~ <br />I think that meeting should probably be a special meeting as he wants to <br />go over a number of things.
