I have spoken to Mr. Art <br />l)unn at Comprehensive Health and he states this is Considered clean <br />waste material.. <br /> <br />'lt~is Council has to give their approval that they don't object to <br />the above and Comprehensive Health will actually issue the permit. <br /> <br />M'CENSE TO OPERATE A SELF SERVICE GAS STATION REQUEST FOR; CASE OF <br />ROBERT MI~LLER: <br /> <br />Backgrpund: Mr. ~uller is requesting a license for a self service <br />gas station which will be located at 59S9 - 167th Avenue N.W. He <br />meets the zoning requirements which is B-1 zoning. Enclosure (1) <br />contains his request. <br /> <br />Council Action' Paragraph 130.0117 of the City Code requires <br />Council approval for the above. <br /> <br />COUNCIL t~ERSONNEL COY~ITTEE: This Committee met Wednesday, <br />December 13, 1978 on lke~ following matter: <br /> <br />a) Personnel Policy - They recommended that certain changes be made <br />to the Personnel Ordinance which will be coming to the Council for <br />your review in January, 1979. <br /> <br />b) Health Insurance - That City Administrator review other health <br />group companies for better coverage. They also recommended approval <br />of the following to the Council. <br /> <br />1) City Administrator has been paying for his own poticy for <br />health insurance through his former employer entirely and has <br />not been paying for coverage through the City's group carrier. <br />Consequently, the City Administrator asked if the amount which <br />the City would have'Lo pay could be paid to him. The Personnel <br />Committee approved said request. ' <br /> <br />2) Mike Auspos will have the same situation come January 1 and <br />the Personnel Committee recommended the same procedure. <br /> <br />Summary: It is for this reason the Personnel Committee request for <br />a review of the City group coverage as both of the above parties <br />stated they had much better group coverage by former employers <br />for same or less dollars. <br /> <br /> <br />
