5/1/78 Motion by Ron West, seconded by A1Sorteberg to recommend to the City Council to grant a variance to Gionel Fullwood to subdivide a NE~ of the NE~ except the east 528 feet thereof of sec. 4, twp. 32, R25 into two parcels presently known as plat 89204 parcel 100 of 2½ acres with ~e×isting buildings, and plat~ 89204, parcel 20 of 21½ acres without buildings. Subject to park dedication fee. Motion carried 5-0. The second request is for property on Green Valley Road. Mr. Holker wishes to s~bdiv~de 20 acres into 73 acres lying south of the drainage ditch with a house on it and 12½ a~'res lying north of the ditch v~thout build±nfs with the northern half having a private driveway along the east time of the south 7½ acres. ~ Motion by Ron West, seconded by A1 Sorteberg to recommend to the City .Council to grant a variance to Tom Holker to subdivide by metes and bounds the west 60 acres of the east half of the Northeast Quarter of Bection 3, Twp.32, Range 25 except the east 658.05 feet of the west 60 acres of said east half of the NV! quarter into parcels A & B as shown on sketch with parcel A being less than the 10 acres required by the subdivision ordinance. Subject to park dedication fee. Motion carried 4-1. Ken Peterson opposed. Motion by Ron West, Seconded by A1Sorteberg to recommend to thee City Council to grant a variance to Tom Holker to allow a building permit be issued on parcel'B with a private driveway stated as a deed restriction. Motion carried 3-2. Ken Peterson and Kathy Schneider opposed. Item 4. Fred Armstrong Variance Request. A1Sorteberg was present with a request for a variance from the subdivision ordinance to subdiivide by metes and bounds that part of the N.E.~ of the NE ~, Sec. 17 -32-25 lying N of County Road 83 from a 40 acre parcel, to build a dwelling. Motion by Ron West, seconded by Art Dunn to recommend to th~ City Council to grant a variance to Fred Armstrong from the subdivision ordinance to allow him to subdivide by metes and bounds that part of the NE~ of the NE~, Sec. 17- 32- 25 lying N of County Rosd 83 from a 40 acre'parcel to building a house and subject to park dedication fee. Motion carried 4-1. A1Sorteberg abstained. Item 9. Home Occupations The memo from Bill Goodrich, Clayton Berg, & Phil Nereson was not received so no action was taken at this meeting. Councilman Gamec was present and some of the members relayed some thoughts to him to bring ~o the Council. Motion by A1Sorteberg, zeconded by Ron West to approve the minutes of Aoril 3, 1978 as read. Motion carried 5-0. Motion by Ron West, seconded by A1Sorteberg to adjourn. Meeting adjourned ll:lO p.m. Motion carried 5-0.
