We have recommende8 it be per unit and just
looking at the plat it doesn't make that much difference if it were to
go front foot, except for one lot. This will depen8 on the Council an8 .
they will make that decision tonight.

Mr. Kelm, stated that at 16%th an8 Azurite it is a low area an~ won't tar
make the drainage worse.

Mr. Sba replied it w'ill make some 8ifference.

Mr. Mark Long, Ytirium Street, sat8 there is no gravel on the roa~ now. Are
they going to bring it up to Class five standards before the tar is laiS.

~. Sba stated that at least 3 inches of Class five will be compacted before
the bitiminous mat is laiS.

M~. Long aske8 what woul8 be the ~ifference in price betMeen Class 5 or tar.
Mayor Cox replied that Class 5 WoLLld be 1/2 the cost.

N~. Harris, Azurite Street asked ~a t is going to be done about spec8 on tar
streets.

Discussion held on spee~ signs, speed bumps etc., no conclusive 8ecision.

Tom Walz, Zirconium aske8 how is maintenance and cost going to be handled.

M~yor Cox replies that street maintenance buSget will stay the same.

Mr. Walz aske8 what if it gets washes away.

Mayor Cox sat8 that the contractor's maintenance bon8 will cover any instance
such as this for the first year°

Mr. Cushman asked ~ho pays for the sealcoating.

Mr. Sba sai8 the City gets MSA State aid to be spent on all the streets for this
type of maintenance.
