AS'SESSING REPORT <br /> <br />August 28, 1978 <br /> <br />To City Administration and Council: <br /> <br /> On the 17th of August, I appeared before the 0ral Board <br />of Building Officials and successfuly passed the 0ral exam. <br />This certification should put me on even status with Clayton <br />as far as ~salary is concerned and I would appreciate the <br />Councils serious consideration to increase my salary to $17,000 <br />as of Sept 1, 1978. <br /> <br /> I made a total of 154 inspections this last period. 132 <br />were building and 22 were assessing. Due to Clayton's vacation <br />and catching up with permits, I spent most of the last two <br />weeks in the building department. <br /> <br /> I drove 1206 miles making the inspections and assessing <br />work. <br /> <br /> I have a good start for the '79 viewing and should be able <br />to complete it in gOod time. Jeanne will be helping with the <br />book work for me and will be able to start next-week. I have <br />all the new construction entered in the field books that has <br />been finaled 'out and will keeo them up to date as fast as they <br />come in. <br /> <br />This concludes my report. <br /> <br />Les Wirz <br /> <br /> <br />
