' <br /> <br />11~.1 Purpose. The Flood Plain Districts are ir, tended to be <br /> applied by the City to properties which tie within areas <br /> where special~ regulations are necessary for the minimum <br /> protection of the public health and safety, and of <br /> property and improvements from hazards and damage resulting <br /> from flood waters. ~h~se districts anq the regulations ~ere~n <br /> shall apply to all lands in addition to the regulations <br /> of any other zoning districts which now or in the future <br /> may lie within the boundaries of t~ese districts. <br /> <br />114.2 <br /> <br />General Provisions. Lands to Which Section tipplies. This <br />section shall apply to all lands within the jurisdiction <br />of tile City of Champlin shown on the Official Zoning i-iap <br />as being located t.~ithin the boundaries of the Floodway <br />and Flood Fringe Districts and by the Flood Insurance Study <br />for the City of Champlin as an unnumbered A Zone. <br /> <br />114.3 <br /> <br />Conditional Uses. All uses listed as Conditional Uses in <br />this Section are permitted only upon application to the <br />Zoning 2,dministrator and the issuance of a Conditional Use <br />Permit by the City Board of Adjustment as provided in Section <br />13-1].~..,7 of this Ordinance and further subject to the pro~ <br />visions of this Section of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Procedure. Upon receiving an application for a Conditional' <br />Use Permit involving the use of fill, construction of <br />structures, or storage of materials, th~ Board of <br />^djustment shall, prior to rendering a decision thereon:. <br /> <br />Require the applicant to furnish such of the follow- <br />ing inform, ation as is deemed necessary by the Board <br />for determining the regulatory flood protection <br />elevation, whether the proposed use is located in <br />the floodway or flood fringe, and other factors <br />necessary to render a decision on the suitability <br />of the particular site for the proposed use. <br /> <br />fA) <br /> <br />Plans in triplicate drawn to scale showing <br />the nature, location, dimens, ions and elevation ' <br />of the lots, existing or proposed structures, <br />fill, storage of n~aterials, flood proofing <br />measures, and the relationship of the above to <br />the location of the channel. <br /> <br /> <br />
