In addition to the non,~al application for Conditional- Use Permits, the Zoning Administrator shall submit a copy of the application to the Commissioner of Natural Resources for review at least ten (10) days prior to the hearing date set before the City Board of Adjustment. " Transmit o~e copy of the information described to" a designated engineer or other expert person or agency for technical, assistance in determining whether the proposed use is located in the floodway or flood fringe areas of the Flood Plain, in determining the regulatory flood protection elevation, and in evaluating the proposecl project in relation to flood heights and velocities, the seriousness of flood damage to the use, the adequacy of the Plans for protection and other technical matters. The follo~.;ing procedures shall be followed in the expert evaluation: Estimate the discharge of the regional flood which is representative of large floods known to have occurred in this region and ~'.~hich are reasonably characteristic of what can be expected to occur on the particular streams subject to this Ordinance. It is in the general order of a flood ~.,~hich could be expected to occur on the average of once every 100 Years.
