Councilmelnber Strommen requested an update on the trailer park. City Attorney Goodrich repo~xed the latest official Council action was to authorize bringing municipal service to the site subject to the Official Map concept, which would restrict the evaluation, so in the event that the City or state would acquire that property in the future they would not be able. to Claim the site without sewer and water. That agreement has been in place for about three months. The trailer park's attorney contacted him to express their disagreement with the City's authority to impose that restriction. He requested the attorney to put their position in writing so it can be reviewed with the Council. Councihnember Elvig mmounced he took l~is family to the training fire and it was an outstanding opportunity for people to see the firefighters in action. Councilmember Cook commended the firefighters, police officers and staff for' putting on another very good safety camp. 2) Stall' Updates. City Administrator Norman' announced the Council work~ession next week Will be on Monday, August ?o, due to National Night Out on Tuesday, August 3''d Assistant Public Works Director Olson noted due to the EDA Gol£Tournament on August 17th, the Public Works meeting will need to be 'rescheduled. The consensus of the Council was to reschedule the next Public Works meeting to Monday, August 16th. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councihnember Kurak, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
